UN warns and Issues 5-Day Traffic Alert in Nairobi
The United Nations has issued a five-day traffic alert in Nairobi's Gigiri area between Monday, February 28, and Friday, March 4.
the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) issued a traffic advisory to the residents living in Kenya's capital and particularly around its headquarters.
Gigiri and Runda areas, and particularly the UN Avenue will be most affected by the traffic build-up.
UNON explained that the traffic will be as a result of the convention of the UN Environmental Assembly, the world's highest environmental decision-making body. The event coincides with the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP's) 50th anniversary.
