Kenyans have taken to their social media platforms to express frustrations and inconveniences after the telecommunication giant Safaricom's Mpesa services stopped working. Citing how their day-to-day activities have been affected by the Mpesa disruption, many called on Safaricom to expedite the fixing of the hitch which is costing many time and money. In the complaints on Twitter, some shared how they were shopping but could not pay for the goods or services owing to the disruption of Mpesa services. One Kenyan said he was stranded in hotels because they could not pay the bill.
