KDF Officer Arrested After Shooting At Boda Boda Rider In Syokimau

A military doctor is in custody for allegedly firing at a boda boda rider who dropped off his daughter at their home in Syokimau, Machakos County on Thursday night. Wycliffe Atendo, an online rider who operates in Nairobi, is said to have received a request from a client at Kimathi street in the CBD heading to White House estate, in Syokimau. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), after the rider completed the 20-kilometre journey he was met with hostility just as he was about to receive his payment. Kanye West Sued Over Claim Of Illegal Sample On ‘Donda 2’

Rapper, producer and entrepreneur Kanye West, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, was sued on Wednesday for allegedly sampling a song by musician Marshall Jefferson without permission. Ultra International Music Publishing LLC said "Flowers" from West's album "Donda 2" includes a sample from Jefferson's 1986 dance song "Move Your Body" that is repeated at least 22 times. A representative for West did not immediately respond to a request for comment, nor did West label Universal Music Group (UMG.AS), which is not a party to the suit. An attorney for Ultra International, which owns the rights to Jefferson's song, said the company had no comment and believes the lawsuit speaks for itself. An aspiring Member of County Assembly (MCA) eyeing Meru County’s Muthara Ward seat has been arrested in connection to a string of fraud-related robbery cases reported across the country. NARC Kenya party's Benson Thuranira Kathiai is accused of fraudulently obtaining Ksh.415,000 from different M-Pesa agents in Nakuru, Shauri Moyo, Busia and Meru on separate occasions.
