Teacher In Custody For Allegedly Sodomizing 3 Pupils In Bomet
A male teacher is being held in Bomet County after he allegedly sodomized three pupils aged between 11 and 13.
The suspect was taken to Mogogosiek Police Station in Konoin and is set to be arraigned over the heinous acts at Mosoriot Academy.
Konoin police boss Tom Achiya said the suspect, Bernard Kirui, was arrested after one of the victims complained of severe pain and was rushed to Litein Mission Hospital; where it was established that he had been sodomized.
"His arrest follows complaints from staff members at the school. We conducted investigations, which led to the apprehension of the suspect," Achiya said.
Preliminary investigations show that the teacher slept at the boys' dormitory despite having a room allocated to him by the school.
