Mudavadi says no one owes him any political debt.

Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has maintained that no one owes him any political debt. Mudavadi clarified that in politics there is nothing like political debts resulting from one’s previous support of another. He said people come together politically with an agenda through shared ideologies, and that should not be seen as a debt. Mudavadi made the remarks on Tuesday during an interview with Kass FM/TV. Raila visits families of ex-Tanzanian presidents Mkapa and Magufuli

ODM leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday met with families of late Tanzania Presidents late Benjamin Mkapa and John Magufuli. In a statement, Raila said he visited the widows of the two former presidents; Mama Anna Mkapa and Janeth Magufuli. "I passed by to visit the families of my good friends Presidents Benjamin Mkapa and John Magufuli. Great to see Mama Anna Mkapa and Mama Janeth Magufuli in high spirits. African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development, Raila Odinga is in Ethiopia for a ministerial meeting for the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia-Transport corridor. The ministerial meeting brings together stakeholders from relevant departments in the region to review the project’s progress. "The regional initiative is a game-changer on matters of infrastructure development," Raila tweeted on Monday. The meeting comes a few weeks after President Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned the first berth of the Lamu Port, which is part of the larger Lapsset project. The President of the Court of Appeal Justice Daniel Musinga has constituted a seven-judge bench to hear the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) appeal case. ODM party leader Raila Odinga has tested negative for Covid-19. The party confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday that Raila is out of danger of the virus and is focused on pending issues. He tested positive for the virus on 11 March 31, 2021, when he checked into Nairobi Hospital for a series of test after complaining of fatigue when returning from a five-day tour from the coast. Raila met with party officials on Wednesday to discuss recent developments in the country including the ongoing countrywide vaccination and the state of the country’s economy. Deputy President William Ruto has told president Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga to stop inciting the public against him. The Dp said he played a role in elevating Mr.Odinga to prime minister in the elections that were lead by violence.
