Ruto urges police to treat Kenyans equally.
Deputy President William Ruto urges the police service to offer their services without discrimination across the country.
Speaking in Nakuru the Dp said the biggest threat that this country can face if police if the police service only responds to political interest.
The Dp comments came following what was witnessed during the by-election in Matungu and Kabuchai constituencies and London ward in Nakuru.
The Dp reminded the inspector General of police Hillary Mutyambai and the entire police service that the police is an independent unit and should carry out its operation as stipulated by the constitution.
He added that the judiciary should stand up to be counted as an independent institution and not listen to any lecturers from any quarters.
