Motorists in Nairobi slapped With Increased Parking Fees in New City Hall Directive
Motorists in Nairobi county will have to pay more parking fees, This is according to the amended Nairobi City County Finance Bill 2021, which was recently approved in the city's county Assembly.
Malls and big establishments offering parking fees will have to part with an average of Ksh500,000 and Ksh2 million on an annual basis to be remitted as a single business permit.
Further, the buildings with a capacity of 50 vehicles will have to pay Ksh500,000 annually while the businesses can accommodate more than 100 vehicles will bear the burden of paying Ksh2 million.
