Hollywood actress Jenifer Lewis has revealed that during a trip to the Serengeti in Tanzania, she experienced a devastating fall, after which she couldn’t move and thought she might die. Lewis recalled, in a preview of a sit-down interview with news anchor Robin Roberts that aired on Good Morning America, that in 2022, she planned to retire and travel, after 'Black-ish' wrapped and she released a book. Police in Essex, England have verified that the Kenya Airways (KQ) flight redirected to London's Stansted Airport on Thursday underwent a thorough inspection and no concerning items were found on board. The KQ plane, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, was intercepted on its way to London before being diverted to Stansted for security clearance by U.K government security personnel. Twenty-one people were killed when a bus heading for the Kenyan capital Nairobi crashed shortly after crossing the border from Uganda, police said Sunday, the latest in a recent spate of deadly road accidents. The Ugandan government is planning to issue new measures to try to improve road safety after a surge in accidents in the East African country over the festive period. Ugandan regional police spokesman Rogers Taitika told AFP that 21 people were confirmed dead after the accident on Saturday evening. Those killed were mostly Kenyans but also included eight Ugandans. The Nairobi City County will dispose 236 unclaimed dead bodies that are laying in morgues within the city.  In a notice, the County said 218 unclaimed bodies are lying at the Nairobi City Mortuary and 18 others are at the Mama Lucy Hospital Mortuary.  Members of the public have been urged to identify and collect the bodies, failure to which they will be disposed after 7 days of the notice.  “Pursuant to the Public Health Act Cap 242 [Subsidiary; PUBLIC HEALTH (PUBLIC MORTUARIES) RULES, 1991] (2). A man was charged on Wednesday with stealing cooking oil from Naivas Supermarket. Alvin Linus Chivondo was charged with stealing 2 litres of cooking oil at the Naivas Supermarket along Moi Avenue.  According to the prosecution, the 21-year-old man also stole 5 kgs of rice , honey, tea leaves and sugar, all totaling Ksh. 3,165.  He pleaded guilty before the court.  The court heard that he posed as a customer, picking the items from the shelves before packing them into a non-woven carrier bag.  He was intercepted while attempting to exit the supermarket without paying.
