TikTok on Wednesday announced an ad revenue-sharing program with the social media platform's most prominent creators, moving closer to a model already used by its competitors. The short-video format app has become wildly popular in recent years with more than a billion active users globally, but has been criticized for not providing a way for creators to effectively monetize content. Rapper Darassa expresses his challenges in the Industry Claims He Made No Money With Hit Song ‘Muziki’ Despite 20M Youtube Views

Darrassa, a Tanzanian rapper, and fellow Tanzanian singer Ben Pol released the hit song 'Muziki' on November 23, 2016, which has received some 20,083,261 views on YouTube so far. However, the rapper now claims that he has not made any money from the song.
