President Uhuru Kenyatta among heads of state in Dodoma to attend Magufuli’s mass.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is among the heads of state who have arrived in Dodoma at the Jamhuri stadium for the state funeral mass of the late Tanzania president John Pombe Magufuli. Uhuru who doubles up as the chairperson of the East African Community was accompanied by Cs Adan Mohammed and arrived at the Uhuru grounds a fewminutes after 10 a.m. Presidents present include South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa,Malawi’s Lazarus Chakwera,Botswana’s Mokgweetsi Masisi and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame. The late Tanzanian president will be buried on March 25. Today his body is expected at the Dodoma Uhuru grounds for public viewing before being moved to Mwanza on March 23. Magufuli body arrives at Uhuru Stadium for Public viewing.

The body of the late former president John Pombe Magufuli was on Saturday to Uhuru Stadium for public viewing. This was after a brief funeral service held at St.Peter Oysterbay church. The body was carried in a military truck under tight security security by Tanzania Defense Forces. Tanzania flocked to the streets to catch a glimpse of the convoy carrying the late president’s remains. At Uhuru stadium citizens consoled magufuli’s Janet as grief overwhelmed her. Thousands of Tanzanias were seen seated at he 23,000 seat capacity stadium to pay their respects. Magufuli will be buried on March 25.

She was born in Zanzibar on 27th of January 1960 and elected into office through the CCM party. Education Background. Hon.Samia Hassan received her Primary Education in different schools including Chwaka Primary school in Ugunja in 1996 to 1988, Ziwani primary school in Pemba from 1970 to 1971 and Mahonda Primary school in Unguja in 1972.
