At Least 10 Killed In Mexico Church Roof Collapse

At least ten people, including three children, were killed and 60 more injured when the roof of a church came crashing down on a baptism in northeastern Mexico on Sunday, authorities said. The disaster struck the coastal town of Ciudad Madero, in Tamaulipas state, with a Red Cross rescuer telling local media that 80 people had been in attendance at the Santa Cruz parish when the roof caved in. A 17-year-old student in Uganda has been apprehended after he was found responsible for the trafficking of 170 youths from Uganda into Kenya by offering them scam jobs. According to reports, the minor was acting as an agent for her sister who is attached to a fake company in Kenya under the name Humble Company and had recruited as many young people as possible who were interested in securing the job. The younger child was taken Monday to a hospital, where he died, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief J.D. Stronko said in a news conference. A passenger train carrying at least 50 people derailed in the Netherlands early on Tuesday after hitting construction equipment on the track and several dozen people were injured, many seriously, Dutch emergency services said.
