An explosion at a fuel depot in Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh has killed 20 people and injured hundreds more, local Armenian authorities say. Nearly 300 people were admitted to hospitals, with dozens of them "still in critical condition". It comes as the Armenian government said 13,350 refugees crossed into the country from the enclave. The disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region is home to a majority of some 120,000 ethnic Armenians. It is not yet clear what caused the explosion on Monday evening in the main city of Stepanakert. According to reports the fire broke out at Jua Kali area razing down shedloads of stalls, with traders now calling for a lasting solution to the perennial fires. Meanwhile, traders and firefighters are at the scene in efforts to put out the inferno. Over the years, a number of fires have ravaged Gikomba market, East Africa's largest open market.  In October 2017, the government said that it had laid a Ksh.19 billion blueprint to construct a multi-storey market where the more than 20,000 Gikomba traders were to be accommodated as well as ensure an end to the frequent fires. 38 Killed In Central China Fire

Thirty-eight people were killed and two were injured after a fire at a plant in central China, state media said Tuesday, citing local authorities. The fire broke out at a plant in Anyang City in Henan Province on Monday afternoon, news agency Xinhua reported. State media said rescue services first received reports of a fire at 4:22 pm (0822 GMT) at Kaixinda Trading Co., Ltd. "After receiving the alarm, the municipal fire rescue detachment immediately dispatched forces to the scene," CCTV reported. "Public security, emergency response, municipal administration, and power supply units rushed to the scene at the same time to carry out emergency handling and rescue work," it said, adding the fire was extinguished by around 11 pm local time.
