Zarika, Kimario To Lead Team Kenya In Ultra Fight Series Boxing
Kenyan boxers are among the participants at the Ultra Fight Series boxing slated for October 27 at the Broadwalk Mall in Parklands.
After being out of the ring for close to three years, Fatuma ‘Iron Fist’ Zarika will be back in action to defend her World Boxing Federation (WBF) World Super Featherweight title against Tanzanian pugilist Fatuma Omari.
Zarika is among three Kenyan women boxers who have won a WBF title alongside Conjestina ‘Hands of Stone’ Achieng and Sarah ‘Angel of War’ Achieng.
The two-time World Boxing Council (WBC) World Super Bantam champion defeated Patience Mastara of Zimbabwe to lift the coveted title in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in November 2020 and now will defend the title in a ten-round duel against the decorated Tanzanian.
