South African rapper AKA’s fiancée Anele Tembe dies.
Popular South African rapper Kiernan Forbes known to his fans as AKA, is in mourning following the untimely death of his fiancée Anele 'Nellie' Tembe.
Anele is said to have died on Sunday, April 11, after falling from the Pepperclub Hotel's balcony located in the Central business district of Cape Town.
According to paramedics dispatched to the scene, the 22-year-old fell from the 10th floor sustaining severe injuries. Due to her injuries' severity, their efforts to save her bore no fruits, and she was pronounced dead shortly after.
"Paramedics arrived to resuscitate her, but she had extensive injuries. When stabilizing the individual, her condition rapidly deteriorated and was sadly declared dead at the scene," said Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst.
