Three Women Killed As Gold Mine Collapses In West Pokot

Three women were killed and two others were injured when the walls of a mine they were digging collapsed on Wednesday morning in West Pokot's Nyelnyel area. According to Ptokoch Sub-location Deputy Chief Flomena Karotich, the women, aged 20 to 32, had gone to mine for gold on the mine when the walls collapsed and buried them alive.
