Viral Maasai Tiktoker Gifted by Indian Ambassador, Buys New Car

recently met the Indian ambassador to Tanzania, Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, and the high commissioner gave him a gift. Afterwards, Kili said he was gifted for promoting Indian culture in his videos. According to the young man, he was summoned by the ambassador after receiving a call from his superiors in India, who had noticed Kili’s videos. While Kili said he was not at liberty to share everything they discussed, he divulged that he could soon be flying to the Asian country. It was a double delight for Kili as on the same day he met the ambassador, he also bought his first car. “Buying my first car is such a big deal for me, so it is double the happiness,” adding that he had purchased a Toyota Ractis.

Raila visits Sabina Chege at Nairobi Hospital

Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has visited Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege at the Nairobi Hospital. The ODM party leader jetted back into the city on the evening of February 22, after an extensive tour of the Coastal region where he popularized his 2022 presidential bid. During the hospital visit, Mr Odinga was accompanied by MPs Kanini Kega (Kieni), Junet Mohamed (Suna East), Mishi Mboko (Likoni) and Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay County). Burkina Faso gold mine blast kills 60

About 60 people have died after an explosion at a makeshift gold mine in a village in south-west Burkina Faso, local officials say. The blast happened in a market at the gold-mining site when dynamite stored there caught fire, witnesses said. "There were bodies strewn everywhere. It was an explosion that managed to uproot trees and bring down houses," a judicial source told Reuters. Dozens of injured people have been evacuated to the nearest hospital. It is thought women and children are among the casualties, the AFP news agency reports. Services have been grounded at City Hall as a section of staff refused to report to their work stations and assembled outside City Hall Annexe. On Tuesday morning, the VIP entrance along City Hall Way which is used by the Governor and other high profile public figures was locked from the outside using a chain and padlock. Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege wants Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to reschedule her 'vote rigging' case citing health conditions. Through her lawyers James Orengo, Otiende Amollo and Martin Aloo, the lawmaker asked for another date saying she is unwell and admitted to Nairobi Hospital.
