Justin Bieber has a mild case of Covid-19, a representative for Bieber tells CNN. Bieber was scheduled to perform as part of his "Justice World Tour" in Las Vegas on Sunday, but the show has been postponed due to Covid. "Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will unfortunately have to postpone Sunday's show in Las Vegas. Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority. The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible," the statement from T-Mobile Arena stated. Construction Offers hope , with 60,000 new jobs

Increased investment in construction, as Covid-19 ravaged the country, saved a portion of the economy last year, creating thousands of new job opportunities as other sectors suffered. The construction, which ranged from roads, railway lines and houses, provided a lifeline to over 60,000 Kenyans, as many shifted to building works to earn a living. The Economic Survey 2021 reports that wage employment in the construction sector grew by 33 per cent from 173,300 persons in 2019 to 230,500 persons in 2020. “Employment level in the public sector rose by 3 per cent from 8,832 persons in 2019 to 9,093 persons in 2020, while private sector employment recorded 34.5 per cent increase from 164,500 persons in 2019 to 221,400 persons in 2020,” the report states. KDF rolls out Covid-19 vaccination .

The Kenya Defense Forces today rolled out the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine to its personnel. Chief defense General Robert Kibochi said this will see all the soldiers and their families get a jab. Speaking at the Kahawa Garrison Kibochi said the soldiers should ignore the fake rumors surrounding the vaccine and take the jab. He said the vaccination was happening at all their garrison include Mtongwe, Nanyuki, Laikipia and Gilgil. He also insisted and assure troops in Somalia will be reached so they do not feel left out. He added that 5,000 new recruits in various training centers will get the vaccination which will play a key role in ensuring that none get infected.
