Legendary former boxer Conjestina Achieng has torched her own house in Gem Yala, Siaya County.
Conjestina, who has been struggling with mental issues for years, torched her house citing frustration, Since coming to the fore in 2018, the plight of one of Kenya’s most talented boxers has been much publicized, with some notable names in the country offering to help the troubled legend. More recently, radio and Kenyan sports personality Carol Radull highlighted the boxer’s troubles as she disclosed Conjestina was barely hanging on after “fake promises from Heroes Council”.
