Toyota Prado Intercepted Ferrying 379 Kilos Of Bhang Worth Ksh.11M

Police in Kisii are in custody of an illegal consignment of bhang valued at over Ksh.11 million after intercepting its transportation on Sunday. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the consignment was being ferried to Kilgoris, Narok County in a white Toyota Prado when officers on patrol noticed that the car was loaded with suspicious goods. "The officers signaled the driver of the vehicle to stop but he defied the orders and sped off at breakneck speed and upon reaching Magena area, he made a quick U-turn back towards Kanyenye," read part of a statement from DCI. Police Impound 347 Rolls, 364 Stems Of Bhang In Separate Operations

Police officers in Siaya county nabbed 347 rolls of bhang on Wednesday that were stacked in a suitcase and a backpack. The National Police Service (NPS), confirming the incident, said that the bags belonged to suspects believed to be minors who had boarded a Nairobi-bound bus. The suspects, however, upon being questioned about the contents of the luggage, abandoned the bags and darted off. A manhunt is currently on to bring the suspects to book. Elsewhere in Nakuru county, police raided a farm in Solai location and discovered it was a breeding ground for bhang. 2 Suspects Arrested Transporting Bhang Worth Over Ksh.9M

Two men have been detained at the Lolgorian police station in Trans Mara sub-county, south of Narok, after they were discovered with 313 kilograms of bhang worth more than 9 million shillings packaged inside 90 kg bags. Police Commander Narok Kizito Mutoro said police officers arrested the two, aged 63 and 28, in the Lolgorian area as they ferried the drugs from the Isbania to Nairobi in a  truck. According to Kizito, the public alerted them to the two suspects, and they began tracking them down
