Police in Kisii are in custody of an illegal consignment of bhang valued at over Ksh.11 million after intercepting its transportation on Sunday. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the consignment was being ferried to Kilgoris, Narok County in a white Toyota Prado when officers on patrol noticed that the car was loaded with suspicious goods. A police officer attached to the Kerugoya Police station in Kirinyaga County was on Wednesday found hanging from the roof of his rented house in Kerugoya town. His caretaker, Ann Wanjiru, said that she had gone to check up on him because he had been missing since Monday.
