The ‘Kitoko’ singer who has for the longest time been rumoured to be in a relationship with The Pace founder as well as her baby daddy could not contain her joy while celebrating Blessing’s new year. “Happiest birthday to my voice of reason”. South African rapper AKA’s fiancée Anele Tembe dies.

Popular South African rapper Kiernan Forbes known to his fans as AKA, is in mourning following the untimely death of his fiancée Anele 'Nellie' Tembe. Anele is said to have died on Sunday, April 11, after falling from the Pepperclub Hotel's balcony located in the Central business district of Cape Town. According to paramedics dispatched to the scene, the 22-year-old fell from the 10th floor sustaining severe injuries. Due to her injuries' severity, their efforts to save her bore no fruits, and she was pronounced dead shortly after. "Paramedics arrived to resuscitate her, but she had extensive injuries. When stabilizing the individual, her condition rapidly deteriorated and was sadly declared dead at the scene," said Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst.

The Kenyan designer,Zedekiah Lukoye has apologized over an image of Lamu’s Riyadha Mosque. The move follows uproar from the mosque's management after American rapper and business mogul Jay Z was recently spotted wearing one of the designers T-shirts. The Weeknd Donates KSh 100 Million to Ethiopia.

The weeknd partnered with the World Food Program USA, a UN World Food Programme affiliate, to send over the money toward relief efforts to the country. The superstar who is of Ethiopian descent took to Instagram to share the good news. He wrote: "My heart breaks for my people of Ethiopia as innocent civilians ranging from small children to the elderly are being senselessly murdered and entire villages are being displaced out of fear and destruction." The musician, said the money will be used to provide 2 million meals to displaced Ethiopians. He also encouraged other people who have money to donate and help the innocent people of Ethiopia.
