
President William Ruto is from Thursday set to embark on a three-day visit to the South Nyanza region, his first since assuming office in August last year.
The tour will see him visit Kisii, Nyamira and Migori counties.
In Kisii County on Thursday, the Head of State is expected to begin with the launch of the Kegati Water Project in Nyaribari Chache Constituency at 11 a.m., from where he will head to West Mugirango to launch the Sironga Housing Project, Constituency at 1 p.m.
Thereafter, Ruto will commission upgrading of the Gekano-Rigoma-Amabuko Road in Kitutu Masaba Constituency.
State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamedon Wednesday said President Ruto will hold meetings with leaders in the regions.
