The wait might just be finally over for The Navy (colloquial term for Rihanna’s fans) as new music from the Bajan Princess might just land in a matter of several hours.
The Barbadian artist has long been rumoured to release a new album, however, she never publicly confirmed, always keeping her fans on her toes and admitting that new music will be here imminently.
Fans eventually despaired after the Roc Nation signee announced a surprise pregnancy earlier this year.
However, Marvel has now taken to Twitter to reveal that Rihanna will be dropping a new track for its upcoming and highly anticipated film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Earlier this month, multiple US publications reported that Rihanna had supposedly recorded two new tracks for the film.
The teaser video shared by Marvel shows the Wakanda Forever title transitioning to an “R” graphic with the date October 28th, 2022.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters November 11th. Beyond this vague musical teaser, we at least know for sure that a Rihanna live renaissance is on the horizon: the singer will headline the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show come February.
Hopefully the much-anticipated for performance comes with news of the follow-up to her last and most recent studio album Anti, released in January 2016.
