Uber on Wednesday announced that it will help clear up some of the confusion when it comes to the passenger’s average rating.
For years, Uber drivers have been rating their passengers, but now the riders will be able to see their ratings- how many times you were awarded a 5-star rating as well as how many times you got a one-star.
The ratings will not only help you but also help inform other drivers’ decisions on whether to accept your request.
The rating breakdown will be available to all Uber users in the privacy center, which is accessed by logging in to the account online or in the application.
Here are the steps to follow to access the privacy center and rating breakdown in the app:
- In the settings menu, tap privacy and then privacy center
- In the privacy center, swipe to the right and click on the “would you like to see a summary of how you use Uber”
- Scroll down to the “browse your data” section and tap on “view my ratings” to see the breakdown
In addition to viewing your ratings, users can also review their past trip information, payment details, control marketing preferences and more in the privacy center section.
