Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has agreed to purchase an apartment for the family of Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve.
The Milimani Law Courts on Tuesday, December 15, heard that the house purchase was one of the conditions for the withdrawal of DJ Evolve’s attempted murder charges against the lawmaker. Babu told the court that the purchase would ensure the DJ Evolve does struggle to pay rent given that he is currently not gainfully employed and still recuperating at home.
Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi said the ODM lawmaker will also pay the medical bills and expenses of the victim who was the principal witness.
