An autopsy conducted on the body of slain Juja businessman Peter Njiru Ndwiga has revealed he died from excessive bleeding caused by a single bullet wound on his head. This was according to a post-mortem conducted at the General Kago morgue in Thika, Kiambu county. A report by Citizen TV indicated Ndwiga lost his life from a significant brain haemorrhage. According to People Daily, the post-mortem was witnessed by Ndwiga’s two widows who were shocked at the untimely death of their husband. Purity Wanderi, one of the wives of the deceased, described her late companion as a man of good character.
His other wife Margaret Wambui said that her husband never slept outside, and his death was a major blow to her and their two kids. Ndwiga was allegedly shot dead by Corporal Caroline Kangogo who is also the prime suspect behind the death of Police Constable John Ogweno. Njiru, a security consultant from Embu county, was lured to a hotel in Kimbo, Juja area, Kiambu county by Kangogo at around 4 pm on Monday, July 5. The mother of two shot her before leaving the hotel at around midnight. Kangogo, now a fugitive, shocked the nation with her horrific transgressions that claimed the lives of two men believed to have been in a romantic relationship with her. As of Friday, July 9, the rogue police officer, described as armed and dangerous by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) was still on the loose.
