Earlier today in day two of the World Rally Championships held in Kenya for the first time in many years, Tejveer Rai was involved in a car crash. He bowed out of the competition after the crash which saw him being airlifted to the hospital.
New details reaching us just now is that Tejveer Rai Shattered his spine in the accident. This is one of the worst injuries that one can suffer in an accident and it has emerged that he will be flown to Germany.
He will be taken to Germany where he will receive specialized treatment to correct this injury and possibly save his life. The rally has been entertaining in day two of the event which is being held in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
The accident was captured live on camera and it was just painful to watch as the car flipped into the air. It then rolled several times before coming to a stop. Thanks to the quick action of the spectators and the paramedics, he was taken to hospital in time.
