Two suspects were on Tuesday arrested in Nairobi along Kangundo Road with 10kg of bhang.
The bhang was said to have an estimated street value of Sh300,000.
The Nairobi Anti-Narcotics Unit detectives supported by the Operations Unit on Tuesday conducted a raid at a house in the Joska Area.
The Anti-Narcotic Unit supported by the DCI team said it acted on intelligence reports regarding persons involved in narcotic trafficking and raided the residence of one of the suspects within the Kamulu area along Kangundo Road.
Police said upon searching the suspect’s two houses, they recovered dry plant materials suspected to be Cannabis sativa, popularly known as bhang.
They were arrested and escorted to Kasarani police station where they were placed in custody pending further police action and arraignment.
”The exhibit has been secured as the four await arraignment,” police said.
