Afrobeats sensation Wizkid is gearing up for a tour with his longtime rival and fellow star, Davido.
On Wednesday, January 18, Wizkid announced on Instagram that he and Davido would go on tour after he finishes his MLLE (More Love Less Ego) tour.
“After my MLLE ( MORE LOVE LESS EGO) tour!! Davido and I going on tour ! save your coins !no wan hear pim,” the singer wrote.
The two former rivals quashed their beef in 2017 after Wizkid invited Davido on the stage during his concert at the Eko Convention centre.
Despite being arguably Africa’s biggest Afrobeat stars, it was their first time sharing the stage.
The news of their upcoming concert will undoubtedly excite Afrobeat fans who have been hoping for a joint release from the two.
In the meantime, Wizkid will begin his North American tour in Houston in early March as he wins over his fans with his More Love, Less Ego album.
He is expected to make stops in major cities such as Miami, Atlanta, New York, and Chicago before continuing on tour with Davido.
