Mvita UDA candidate Omar Shallo is among three people who have been arrested after chaos erupted at Tudor Primary School during a voting exercise on Tuesday.
The chaos began after ODM and UDA supporters engaged in a physical confrontation at the station in Mombasa County.
The MP candidate is being held at Makupa Police Station.
Voting was halted temporarily at the centre following a scuffle between UDA and ODM supporters.
