Detectives in Nairobi have flushed a Sudanese man said to be an “international fugitive” out of his hideout at the University of Nairobi’s staff quarters.
Mohamed Nagi Mohamed Magzoub was flushed out of the city campus on Monday evening by Transnational and Organized Crimes detectives who were acting on a tip-off from the public.
Detectives said they had established that Mr. Magzoub, who was in possession of a Sudanese passport, is facing organized charges in the country.
“Arrangements to extradite the suspect to his home country, where he will face justice, are currently in top gear, as the Directorate looks for the next available flight to Khartoum to hand him over to Sudanese authorities,” read a report by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
