Three people have been arrested following an incident where a woman and a young man believed to be her son were assaulted in Ringa, Rachuonyo East, Homa Bay County under unknown circumstances.
In a statement, the National Police Service (NPS) said the three; Dedan Kimathi Agan, Enos Odhiambo Osoo and Lukio Okwiri are in police custody.
Police added that the three suspects are being processed and will be charged with assault and causing bodily harm.
The video clip circulating on social media prompted Kenyans to call on the authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.
Police took note of the incident terming it as an act of victimization against the two which is unjustified, unlawful and cruel.
