Comedian Eric Omondi has come out to explain why he became distant from singer Miss P immediately after sponsoring her project.
In an interview with Eve Mungai, the funnyman said his intention was to revive the singing career of the youthful artist who was facing serious hurdles.
From what Miss P told me, she was blocked and the only thing that was remaining is for her to sink completely in the industry. Even I looked at her and judged she was completely finished. The only people who could redeem her were bigwigs like myself, Churchill or Khaligraph Jones. And I told my manager that I must revive this lady.”
“Through my support, she rose again and I had to leave because my management was complaining that my intention to revive my fellow artiste was not bringing any commercial benefit to our business,” said Eric. Eric noted that he was only aiming at reviving the musician and not to work with her permanently. Miss P should stand alone The comedian confidently said that Miss P is smart, sharp and can thrive even without depending on anyone. He added that the young lady is just becoming lazy. “I know Miss P, she is very smart and sharp. She should focus on her career without depending on anyone,” Eric added.
