
The thespian recently made it public that she was to vie for the Nairobi Woman Representative Seat in the August general election. In a video shared on her Instagram page on the night of Monday, January 31, the political aspirant said she had been receiving messages and calls from people threatening her.
said she was not happy and would not back down from her push to become a leader in Nairobi county.
“I’m not happy, I have been receiving messages and calls from you guys. Let me tell you, I’m not stepping down! (sarcastic laugh), I’m not stepping down,” she said.
Pointing at the camera, the actress reminded everyone that she is not a coward, and despite not having the money to hold huge political rallies, she was to fight on. “Tutapatane kwa debe, kura iongee (sic),” she ended her message.
The star received love and support from some of her fans, who urged her to be strong as it was a hard task. Others, however, were not as kind.
