Comedian Eric Omondi has settled the cold war between Ezekiel Mutua and Bahati by covering the sponsorship money that the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) boss promised to reward the star.
During the listening party for the album on Sunday, June 13, an event attended by several friends and celebrities alike, Eric decided to show off.
In a video shared by Bahati on Instagram, one could spot the two with many others on stage as Eric slapped notes of cash in Bahati’s face, who just sat there enjoying the moment. The comedian even went over to the singer’s wife, Diana Marua, and gave her some of the money.
Eric then picked the microphone and urged artistes to support each other instead of waiting for people to put them down. The musician then hilariously asked his wife Diana to pick the falling notes so that no one else gets them. Bahati captioned the video with several laugh emojis, noting Eric had paid back the cash that Mutua had promised
Mutua’s decision came days after Bahati released a music video in which he was recorded smoking a huge cigar, which made many question his Christian beliefs.
