Former gospel artiste Willy Paul has opened up about quitting the gospel ministry and venturing into the secular world.

The Fanya hitmaker disclosed that people within the gospel industry frustrated him and made him go broke that he got to a point he could not pay the bills.

According to Pozzeh, the same people who asked why he left the gospel industry are the same people who fought him so hard while he was doing ministry. “Hate from my fellow artistes and DJs, lack of airplay claiming my content wasn’t Godly back then, and favouritism made me quit. I was the top artist, but these evil people couldn’t see that. Or they just chose to ignore the reality! These people broke my heart! They hurt me so badly. I was depressed for four months,” he added.
