The DPP has orderd the IG of police to conduct speedy investigations into the death of National Land Commission deputy director of communications, Jeniffer Wambua.
The body of Wambua was found earlier this week at the city Mortuary.
The body had been collected from Ngong area on Saturday.
Through senior Director of public prosecutions Joseph Kinyanju he told the chief magistrate Francis Andayi that thorough investigation will be conducted to ensure the culprits are brought to book.
The deceased was a prosecution witness number 4 who had given her evidence and was waiting to be cross examined by the defense lawyers in a criminal case facing Lugari Mp Ayub Suvula and twenty others.
The defense team through Kerate Wandugi told the court that they were shocked to learn of the mysterious death of prosecution witness.
Joseph Komu,her husband said he had searched for Wambua in hospitals and other locations within Nairobi .
A twist had emerged after it was found that Wambua had left her personal effects in the family vehicle’s boot.
They included her mobile phone,packed lunch and handbag.
Komu said he searched for her in her office and later went to their home only to find her missing.
However Detectives were puzzled to find her phone was found in her husband’s car that was parked near the office.
