The Kenya Defense Forces today rolled out the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine to its personnel.
Chief defense General Robert Kibochi said this will see all the soldiers and their families get a jab.
Speaking at the Kahawa Garrison Kibochi said the soldiers should ignore the fake rumors surrounding the vaccine and take the jab.
He said the vaccination was happening at all their garrison include Mtongwe, Nanyuki, Laikipia and Gilgil.
He also insisted and assure troops in Somalia will be reached so they do not feel left out.
He added that 5,000 new recruits in various training centers will get the vaccination which will play a key role in ensuring that none get infected.
